Instead…
Count your blessings. Daily.
Determine why you love YOUR life.
Pray for contentment.
Be happy – truly happy – for others. Especially other women.
Enjoy being the woman God created you to be.

How do you avoid the trap of comparison? How do you combat the negative effects of comparison in your life?
This reminds me of the Beth Moore conference I went to when she said that “better is bitter when…” better is someone else (so comparing). But when I find that I am comparing myself, I try to think of what I can LEARN from that woman. God has placed her in my life not to compete with but to learn from. And I try to live so that other women can learn from me in some way (some way?). 🙂
Literally counting my blessings is how I combat comparison, sounds simple yet was a hard lesson to learn! And still is a hard lesson to learn and use on a daily basis! If the grass looks greener on the other side, why don’t you water your own yard!
Good morning. Just stopping by from 31 days. Oh my. I just wrote about comparison a few days ago. “Curiosity didn’t kill the cat, comparison did!”
I’m trying to overcome this horrible habit. I just need to be me. 🙂
