Have heard of the .Mom Conference? It is an awesome event put on from LifeWay, put together with this in mind…
Have you ever thought, I wonder if other moms feel….? However you finish that sentence, the answer is yes. The journey of motherhood is exciting, scary, lovely, and challenging. Which is why we’ve created .MOM – a weekend that will encourage and refresh you, connect you with other moms, celebrate motherhood, and draw you closer to Christ.
Doesn’t that sound absolutely lovely?!
Well, in just a few weeks .Mom will kick off in Birmingham, Alabama and guess who will be there?
Yep! This little cutie and I will be hopping on a plane {my first time ever flying with a child!} and attending the .Mom Conference as guests of LifeWay!
I’ll be live tweeting and blogging about all the awesomeness occurring at .Mom, including hearing speakers Vicki Courtney, David Thomas, Esther Burroughs, Sissy Goff, Sara Horn, and… wait for it… Jen Hatmaker!
Vicki Courtney has a wonderful study out called 5 Conversations You Must Have with Your Son
David Thomas is the co-author of my very favorite book on raising boys, Wild Things: The Art of Nurturing Boys
Then there’s Jen Hatmaker. I just wrote the other day about reading her book, 7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess
And Melissa Greene, formerly of Avalon, will be leading worship! Oh, what a voice!
Oh, did I mention some of my very best blogging friends will be there as well?! Can’t wait to hug and squeeze on each of them and enjoy some mama refreshment time together!
I feel very honored and blessed to be headed to .Mom and I would love to see YOU there!
