This month is all about giving and gratitude. THIS is what I want our life to be about all the time, and focusing specifically on it for a month is a good way to start.
But I need some inspiration.
I am a music person – that is how God speaks to me. That is how I memorize Scripture. My soul is stirred by music.
And as I sat down to write my Top Ten Tuesday post to link up over at Amanda’s lovely place, I had a specific idea in mind:

My favorite is “Praise You In This Storm” by Casting Crowns. Even when life is rough and “stormy”, we still should be praising and giving thanks to God.

This song isn’t specifically about giving or gratitude. But it does INSPIRE me and makes me grateful. AND it’s been in my head for like 3 weeks. I honestly wrote a post about it last week and haven’t published it yet. It’s “WHY” by Nichole Nordeman.
And really anything by Nichole Nordeman or Sarah Groves makes my heart swell!

I listen to Christ is Risen (Matt Maher) a lot to remind me that He is IT. I find myself more grateful after I listen to it!
Funny you should say that about music being the way God speaks to you. I feel the same. I feel God’s pleasure when I worship.
