Mom’s Bible: God’s Wisdom for Mothers

I am a self-professed Bible junkie. I just can’t pass up a new Bible to look through, read notes, compare translations and so on.

This Bible from Thomas Nelson just called my name when I saw the title:

And I have been so blessed by it!

I particularly love the devotions scattered throughout the book and was so encouraged by one about seeing your family like a volleyball team, that I had to share it with our MOPS group. It provided such a vivid picture of God’s design for family: God as the coach, my husband as the captain of the team, and us as the team, all working together for God’s purposes in our lives!

This isn’t my every day study Bible, but I do keep it close at hand for encouragement for myself and other moms I know – because moms need that extra blessing from the Word often!
