Is it weird that I love when strange things happen during the week because I get to include them here? Such is the life of a blogger, I suppose.
Welcome to Not Me Monday, a fabulous blog carnival started by MckMama, and a fun way to NOT confess our unusual happenings and laugh at ourselves! If you’re visiting from the carnival, thanks for stopping by! And if you like what you read, stick around and then subscribe by feed or e-mail!
It was NOT my husband who walked past the bathroom this week to find one child on the toilet and the other child watching a little too closely and exclaiming over and over "Poh! Poh!" with fascination. (Click here for the translation of "Poh!" if you haven’t figured it out yet.)
And it was NOT me who decided "second dinner" was a necessity only because we were in very close proximity to a Chick-Fil-A this past weekend. I would never encourage over-eating like that. And I would not enjoy EVERY. LAST. BITE.
It also is NOT me who loathes watching soccer (one of the only sports I don’t like to watch), but found herself glued to the television during the last 15 minutes or so of the USA’s World Cup match vs. England this weekend. No, that patriotic spirit didn’t draw me in at all.
And lastly, it is NOT me who thoroughly enjoyed a mostly internet- and kid-free weekend but also loved a little time to read and blog by herself while the hubby golfed. Not even a little bit of reading by the pool.
Nope, not me at all.
What did you NOT do this week?
