Have you ever heard of Really Woolly Kids?
I hadn’t until I went to the Relevant Conference back in October and I’m so wishing I had know about them sooner!
Really Woolly Kids is an adorable collection of books, videos, and much more with characters who share the Gospel with little ones in a fun, appealing way! They are sheep talking about the Shepherd! So cute!
The first item we had the privilege of reviewing was this DVD…
Honestly, after it showed up on our doorstep, I think we watched it every day for a week. The characters are cute, the songs are catchy {read: still stuck in my head RIGHT. NOW.}, and the message is perfect – Psalm 23:4. Do not fear, even in your darkest places. The Shepherd is always with you. That is exactly the message I WANT stuck in our heads!
Next, we threw a little birthday party for Jesus and used the Really Woolly Kids “Happy Birthday Jesus” party pack! Such fun and the boys were thrilled to see the characters they recognized, like Gracie and Jacob, on the balloons, coloring sheets, birthday banner and so on!
And to top it all off, as a Tommy Mommy, I got the chance to review ANOTHER Really Woolly product – this time, the Really Woolly Bible Stories board book from DaySpring! A little bit about this precious book…
This case-bound padded board book from the Really Woolly® brand by DaySpring® makes it easy to share important stories from God’s Word with little children, while teaching them about God’s shepherd-like love for them.
I want to point out that this story book is not a children’s bible, which actually disappointed my four-year-old at first, but it does share key stories from the Bible in a format perfect for your littlest ones – short, rhyming stories with Really Woolly-style art that my children love!
The length of each story is ideal for sharing Truth with kiddos who can’t sit still for more than one page, and you could even fit in a few stories before nap or bedtime!
And while Big J was hoping more stories would be included, I regularly find him with it out in his room trying to read the words himself and telling his little brother what each story is about! And since it is a board book, it can stand up to these brotherly moments day after day!
You can take a look at a preview of Really Woolly Bible Stories in a flipbook here!

I am a Tommy Mommy and received a copy of this book to review from Tommy Nelson. I did not receive any other form of compensation for this post and all opinions are 100% my own!
We love Really Wolly Kids! Our favorite bible story is the story of Noah! When my son was a year old he got a Noah Ark playset with the boat & animals! We use that playset to act out the story & to teach obedience to Lord.
My 3 yo always asks for the Jesus and the storm story from the Jesus Storybook Bible – and I love telling it to him, because it teaches him that with Christ, there is no need for fear.
Look very cute!
My favorite story to share is Noah Ark….my kids love animals. but i do hame many stories that I love to share.
My oldest likes the Passion of Christ.
My son (2) Boen likes the story of Daniel in the Lions den. Every two year old I know loves to crawl around pretending to be a Lion, but it also hold special meaning because his dads name is Daniel. We love to keep our kids imaginations active and alive by pretending with them. This is a fun one to act out.
Well, right now the creation story is one of Molly’s favorites. We read it every night before bed! But I love the story of Noah! Molly has a book with these fabulous sheep in it and she loves it!
Post writing is also a fun, if yoou be acquainted
