WELCOME to those of you visiting from Tuckers Take Tennessee! And thank you to Meghan for featuring me over there today!
This is a note to all readers – returning and new…
This blog is called Home with the Boys, but in all reality, HOME has not been a high enough priority for me lately – except on paper.
I want – I NEED – this blog to reflect my priorities, not just a hodge podge of life’s happenings. I need to be more intentional in my life – my faith, my family, my home – and that should be mirrored here.
SO…
All that to say, I’m reflecting this weekend. I’m prayerfully seeking out challenges and link-ups that are in line with my goals and priorities. Ones that help keep me accountable in those areas I need it most.
And I will be listening more to the Lord’s stirring…and my children’s laughter…and the needs of the hubby…
I am so thankful for the inspiration I’ve received from these beautiful women of the Lord, and all for very different reasons…
Kat from Inspired to Action
Michelle from So, I Married a Mennonite
Sarah Mae from Like a Warm Cup of Coffee (particularly this post)
Lindsey from The Pleated Poppy
Courtney from Women Living Well
Make sure you check out their beautiful blogs and get inspired as well!
Now, back to reflecting! Have a blessed weekend!
And if you want to keep up with all of this, we’d love to have you back!
Oh goodness Erin, so much is going on in my home life right now. That I am also doing the challenge from Courtney’s blog (Making Your Home a Haven).
Last night I woke up in the middle of the night. And I started thinking…I’m gonna take back my family. reclaim my home as a haven. This will be a bit of a challenge as hubby & teenage son’s do not go to church. But I’m taking charge.
Also last night, I found a praying mantis in my home. I hear its good luck. So maybe its a sign.
I’m gonna check out those other blogs you recommend. I am ready to put God in the center of my home.
Thanks again Erin!!
Hey there 🙂 I set up a meet and greet for people going to Relevant. Come check it out and find your name.

Hi Erin!
I feel the same way you do. The past few months have been insane for me as I have tried to figure out how to juggle and prioritize my house and other important parts of my life with my blog. I feel like I am finally *starting* (big emphasis on starting) to get it together…
anyways, Courtney has given me a huge dose of encouragement as well.
Thanks for this post! Can’t wait to meet you at Relevant!
You’re beautiful! I’m really looking forward to meeting you & am thankful to walk through similar phases of life together with friends like you!
