If you missed it last week, we’re starting a book club to read through Sally Clarkson‘s Seasons of a Mother’s Heart – a book full of encouragement and wisdom for homeschool moms!

The random giveaway winners of the book from Apologia were Gretta and Kimberlee! Congrats ladies!

Before I go any further, I just wanted to share with you that dear Sally’s mother passed away very recently. She wrote more about it on her blog – would you consider visiting that beautiful post leaving her a note of encouragement today?

Please keep Sally and her sweet family in your prayers during this emotional and difficult time. Thank you for taking the time to bless Sally in this way!

Now, back to the book club…

Today is the day to start reading!

For more details, including the reading plan and the link-up to let us know you’re joining in, head on over to this post!

As I said before, we will be “meeting” right here every Friday to talk about the chapter we just finished reading for the week. You may join the “discussion” with a comment or by linking up a blog post of your reflections – I can’t wait to see the community that comes to life through this! You all have been such an encouragement to me already!

I wanted to add a few more ways for us to connect without making this too complicated…

-If you’re on Twitter at all, you can tweet your thoughts, encouragement, prayer requests, etc. throughout the week with the hashtag #momsheart – I’ll be following that hashtag on TweetDeck and I hope you will too! {I’m @homewiththeboys on Twitter in case you wondering!}

-If Facebook is more of your thing, I’m not creating any private groups, but you can always go to the Home with the Boys page and post the same as I mentioned for Twitter above! Look for my thoughts there throughout the week as well!

-And just so you don’t miss out on anything, you can subscribe to this blog by email to get posts sent directly to your inbox!

-If you have not bought the book yet, you can still get it from Amazon for just $14 and it should be here in plenty of time for you to read the first chapter! If not, it shouldn’t take you too long to catch up! One chapter a week should be easy peasy!

Of course, none of the above {except having a book to read obviously!} is required to participate – just make sure you come back here every Friday so we can learn from each other! I’m excited to hear thoughts from you lovely mamas – I have a LOT to learn!

Happy reading this week! And happy weekend!
