What I Wore: Layers

This outfit kind of happened by accident.

I started the day in the t-shirt and leggings to do a core workout. The workout {lots of sit-ups and other fun stuff} is supposed to be spread out throughout the day, but I also needed to run some errands and I wasn’t going out in just that!

When it was time to head to the post office, I threw on the skirt. One glance at the gloomy weather told me a jacket would be required, so I pulled out my favorite denim jacket. And the cowboy boots just seemed to work. Plus, they are my comfiest boots. In fact, the whole outfit was super comfy! I didn’t have time to do much with my hair, and the humidity would have ruined my efforts anyway, so a simple headband and “scrunching” was my solution!

Wouldn’t you know, the day I take a bunch of layers and throw together an outfit on my way out the door is the day the young, hip-looking girl at the post office stops to tell me how adorable I look. Yay for “together in ten” and all while wrangling three boys! Mama win!
