A few months ago, I scored an olive military jacket at Goodwill for 99 cents. I was looking for different ways to wear it, so I, of course, scoured Pinterest and happened upon this idea…
I knew I had a red dress so I pinned it to my “In My Closet” board and left it there while I waited for cooler weather.
I finally decided to give the outfit a try for myself this weekend, but the temps were cool enough that sandals weren’t an option. I ended up with this…
jacket – Target {Goodwill}, dress – GAP Outlet, booties- Old Navy
I would have never imagined these pieces together but I love how it worked out! And the booties were a big step for me this year – and now I want to wear them all the time!
This is just one of the red + green outfit combos I’ve discovered lately! I’ll share the other soon and neither one will make you think of Christmas!
Have you ever found an outfit on Pinterest and tried it for yourself? How did it turn out?
I’m linking up to What I Wore Wednesday at The Pleated Poppy!
Cute outfit. I like the way it turned out. I haven’t copied an outfit exactly from pinterest, but used ideas, like cowboy boots & jean jackets with a dress. I’m not very creative, so it helps me use what I have in more ways.
Thank you! And that’s exactly why I love Pinterest, Anna! I want to make the most of what is in my closet!
I love your outfit! I am a huge fan of Goodwill. I haven’t thought to put together an outfit inspired from a Pinterest board. I need to put those two loves together. 😉
Oh, thank you, Jamie! I had a REALLY good haul at Goodwill earlier this week so that will definitely be turning into a blog post 🙂
