The lovely Sarah Mae over at Like a Warm Cup of Coffee is hosting a 12 New Things challenge. The idea is to learn a new skill every month for the next year and I love it!
So here is my list.
August: Learn how to stick to a home schedule
September: Learn how to take care of a newborn girl WITH two active boys around (not my own baby – I’ll be watching a dear friend’s precious little girl!)
October: Learn how to show my husband love and RESPECT better
November: Make homemade bread without a bread machine
December: Learn new activities to promote good manners and respect with my children
January: Learn how to decorate several areas of our home inexpensively
February: Learn to write, speak and sing a praise song in Swahili (the native language of our Compassion child, Samson)
March: Learn to sew with a sewing machine (either a friend’s or get one by then!)
April: Learn how to plant herbs and/or flowers
May: Learn how to change a tire
June: Learn how to make the most of what’s in my closet
July: Learn canning (spaghetti sauce, salsa, etc.)
Why not join the 12 Things Challenge?! And if you don’t blog, just check in with a comment to say what you’re learning and how it is going!
What’s wrong with a bread machine? 🙂 Just teasing.
Hoping over from Sarah Mae’s blog. I love your blog and am a new follower!
Peaceful wishes,
Melissa
