Today the number 500 shows up as I’m counting blessings.
Honestly, I thought it would take FOREVER to reach One Thousand Gifts as Ann has encouraged us. But once you start LOOKING for blessings, they are EVERYWHERE to be found!
I would say I’m halfway to the goal, but my goal isn’t just 1,000 gifts anymore.
My goal is for this lifestyle of gratitude to continue for all my days.
Let the counting continue…
491. Sharing meals with the dearest friends.
492. Father’s Day dart fight between the guys!
493. Birthday countdown by Little J. {Also, the countdown to Cars 2 release – same day!}
494. A successful freezer cooking day!
495. Big J sharing lessons he learned at children’s church all day Sunday!
496. An AMAZING father for our boys – he’s the best!
497. Grilled Pizza Pockets – Father’s Day evening meal!
498. New milestones in my Couch to 5K training.
499. Jesus said to him, โI am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” ~John 14:6
500. This new Count Your Blessings – Magnetic Memo Board with Magnets from DaySpring!
When DaySpring offered the opportunity to review one of their products, I was immediately drawn to this memo board because of the attitude of gratitude it fosters, just like these Monday link-ups with lovely Ann.
We have one memo board up in our room AND one up in the boys room, and we’re encouraging everyone to put up pictures or letters or cards or verses with the cute {and super-strong} magnets that come with the set.
The one in our room looks like this so far… {sorry for the fuzziness!}
We have the card for our Compassion child, Samson, as well as a picture of the boys when they were smaller and one of the hubby and I goofing off pre-kids. I just know the kids will steal the picture of Samson for their board at some point ๐
I love the style and functionality of this board, and like I said – even the magnets are cute!
The Count Your Blessings magnetic memo board comes with three magnets and retails for $34.00, but is on sale for $24.00 over at one of my favorite places, DaySpring!

Spending a wondeful weekend with family!
LOVE DaySpring!!!!! I am blessed to have a computer to read neat blogs like yours!
Very sweet beautiful product ๐
My most recent blessing is finding out we’ve got a home waiting for us on the other side of our move! ๐
Oh what a lovely giveaway! ๐ My blessing is being able to stay home and be a homemaker-in-training! ๐
Putting this board in the kids room is a great idea! I am blessed with good friends.
I am thankful for my boys today. Even though they are driving me crazy! I love those little guys….
I love your blessings and that you are halfway there! Wow, all that freezing cooking, awesome job! I would say a blessing has been this Summer, just the idea of Summer makes me slow down and enjoy life!
Getting the ceiling painted in one coat was a HUGE blessing. ๐
Tweeted!
Lazy summer days are a HUGE blessing!
What a cute memo – board! We are still awaiting summer here, but I am thankful for the blessing of a warm and cozy home of our own. It is so fun to snuggle with my two cutie-pies!
A recent blessing was spending time with my entire immediate family on Father’s Day– all 12 of us. ๐ It was great!
I’m blessed to have such a hard-working husband especially since we have just recently moved! ๐
This would be so cool to win! A recent blessing of mine is a new van (to us) that we just got in anticipation of Baby #3’s arrival–my 2 little sons can no longer hit each other across their carseats while in the car (another blessing). Also my 5th anniversary was last week and the week before I turned 33! ๐
I am blessed because I get to spend the summer home with my 3 boys! I was inspired by your freezer cooking day- so I am trying it out. I cooked corndog muffins. After eating several, my little one said “mom, did you know you are a good cooker?!” Now that’s why I’m blessed!
My friends and family have been a great blessing during my recent illness and cancer diagnosis. Even through the toughest days they are there and I can see the hand of God in all that is around me.
Lots of Blessings,
Shari
My blessing was to attend the CHEK conference this past weekend and hear Ken Ham from Answers in Genesis speak. Challenging and timely messages that really encouraged me!
