I have three young mighty warriors in this house. Two of them act out this role on a regular basis. Superheroes have a constant presence in our day. Everything is a battle between good and evil.
But when this devotional bible from Tommy Nelson showed up at our house, Big J had to ask…
“Is this Bible for us, too?”
And of course, I said YES!
While they pretend to be warriors of all kinds in their play, they have not quite realized the mighty warrior God created each of them to be in REAL LIFE!
God’s Mighty Warrior Devotional Bible by Sheila Walsh is the perfect resource for helping them discover this warrior inside of them!
Accompanied by fun graphics {the boys immediately recognized Will from Sheila’s other Mighty Warrior books!}, the book is filled with Scripture passages…
Memory verses…
Devotions…
And fun activities to bring the Truth to life!
We love the boy-minded terminology used throughout that captures my guys’ attention – words that call to mind battle and honor and courage! I see this devotional as a tool for spurring them on to be mighty warriors for God and for good!
And they ask to read it all the time – WIN!
You can find the hardcover God’s Mighty Warrior Devotional Biblefor only $11.55 on Amazon right now!
Sheila Walsh also has a devotional bible for girls called God’s Little Princess Devotional Bible! Both have been newly updated this summer to make them even better!
And you can enter to win a copy of one of these wonderful devotional bibles for your own mighty warrior or little princess right here! I am giving away one of each!

We read her Children’s Bible before her naps, so this would be a good book to read then as she gets older.
Love these! We have two little princesses. We usually just read out if their childrens bible at night. This would be awesome to get more if gods word in their day.
Looks like an amazing resource! We have two boys so I’d like the warriors devotional. 🙂
I have a little princess.
We read her bible and work from bible curriculum to get her daily dose of the word. This would be a great addition to that.
I have 4 boy’s Samuel, Azariah, Shachia, Victorious, and in 2 weeks I will be giving birth to my 5th son Liam. I rarely get to share quiet time with them because all I want to do is rest. But I know I really need to teach them more about God and Godly ways and God’s Mighty Warrior Devotional Bible would help me do just that. I’ve been praying for help and I found this website about 1 week ago. I’m trying even though it’s hard. Even if we don’t win this offer please keep us in prayer thank you:)
My own quiet time is usually after they go to bed for the night, but we try to do daily devotions with the kids and during our homeschool year we do Bible curriculum too. We have three boys 7, 5, and 1 and one little girl, 3, who loves her Gigi books and my 5 year old recently received Will the Might Warrior so either of these books would be perfect for us. They are both on our Amazon/cbd wish list!
I ordered the post it notes for the boys bible the other day and can’t wait to get them. This looks like a great resource also. Can’t get enough bible study in, I always say. Sometimes it’s hard with a few active boys but we keep on trying. I would love the Warrior one since the little princess is just 2.
I have a daughter and a son who would love either. We have been reading a chapter of the ESV together in the morning and evening and reading a few devotional books. These look great!
We would love the Mighty Warriors Devotional! I have 3 little boys and we try to have quiet time together every day.
Every night before bed we read the day’s devotion out of a great devotional for toddlers and preschoolers called God and Me. The devotion then has verses for us to read out of our Bible. Then we each pray! I would like to start doing something at breakfast as well so I’d love to win this! Except for little princesses since I have three girls. 🙂
I will be honest and say we are not consistent with our devotions and quiet times. I have 3 little boys who would love this Bible. When we do have time, we love the Seek and Find ESV bible. I love how each story points to Christ. If I don’t win it, I definitely see it in our future purchases.

I purchased the girls’ devo book for my 8 yo daughter as part of her Christmas gift, and we have enjoyed dipping into it. I was concerned that it might stay “surface-level” and …you know, sort of typical. Walsh does a great job in being real and sharing the TRUTH in a way aht children can enjoy! I would LOVE to have the boy’s version for my almost-6 yo son!
Oh! I occasionally share what I’m reading about in my own devo time with my children. It tends to come out in a conversational way…I have an 11 yo daughter who seems to respond best taht this manner of talk, rather than a formal sit-down-let’s-share sort of thing. I try to make things casual, bringing up a particular Proverb that made me chuckle, or a section in Psalms that surprised me, things like that.
I have 4 boys and with my older 2 and sometimes 3 older we start our days reading the bible (New King James translation) together. We started in Genesis and will start 1 Peter tomorrow. At nighttime Daddy goes through their children’s bible and an audio bible reading. We would use the Mighty Warrior Devotional as a resource to help show the special ways God wants to grow them and develop them into strong boys/ men in the Lord.
We pray and talk before bed every night. Sometimes if It’s not too late we will read together.
