We’re just back from my hometown where the boys and I joined up with 45 extended family members on my mom’s side for a fun weekend at my parents’ house!

We also visited my grandparents on my dad’s side – such fun seeing them with the boys!

I am tired and a little nervous as we’re starting homeschool today, so I’m going to keep this short and get right to counting the blessings that continue to flow…

581. Discovering “old toys.”

582. Time with Great-Grandpa {my dad’s dad}.

583. And Great-Grandma {my dad’s mom}.

584. Cooler weather – even if just for a half a day!

585. Pleasant road trips {even if they were a little longer than normal!}

586. Boys who can go to the bathroom “anywhere.”

587. Great meetings for the hubby at school while we were gone!

588. Extended family who LOVES to get together – even if they just did less than a month ago!

589. 17 of 19 great-grandkids {on my mom’s side} all together for one picture!

590. And being silly together!

591. A second chance to talk to cousins, aunts and uncles after missing the the last gathering due to illness.

592. Boys {second cousins} of the same general age playing together ALL NIGHT!

593. A night of baby registry shopping with my sis – just the two of us!

594. The Turtle Mocha Cooler she bought me while we were out shopping.

595. The hubby ordering a homeschool desk for Big J while we were gone.

596. The smile on Big J’s face when he found out the hubby had ordered him a desk.

597. A day of spontaneous reorganizing to get ready for the first day of homeschool.

598. The butterflies in my stomach as we get ready for our very first day of homeschool ever!

599. Some time before bed to review my plans and schedule for the week.

600. A reminder to not worry…

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” ~Isaiah 41:10
