I watched my son play. I took lots of pictures. And I caught a glimpse of all things he is and is becoming.
A budding explorer. Brave, but tentative. Independent, yet looking for reassurance. On his way to adventures of his own.
Imaginative. A cowboys in his own frog rodeo one minute, a jet pilot the next, even an astronaut shooting to the moon on his rocket.
And silly. Always goofy. Always crazy. Always ready to make me laugh, if I would just lighten up a bit every once in a while.
What a gift to see your child in a new light at such an everyday place.
We love you Big J!
(Even when you end our park visit with this.)
I’m joining Tuesdays Unwrapped over at Chatting at the Sky to celebrate the beauty of the small moments in life.
I’m also linking up to Sweet Shot Tuesday at My 3 Boybarians!
And the lovely Jennifer’s monthly “A Glimpse” link-up at Studio JRU!
Did you see something in a new light this week?

In that last pic of Big J, his eyes look so blue!
How neat. Loved that blue. Your son is precious. What a neat idea to revel all you saw as he played.
Awesome♥
Looks like Big J and my Jonah would be buds if we lived closer! He is such a cutie!
It is so great that we find so many awesome glimpses of God through our children!
