All he wanted to do was draw with chalk on the driveway.
He drew trains, numbers, letters…
And then he set to work on a bigger project.
VERY tall people. Wishful thinking I guess considering our height-challenged family. It was cute.
He added something.
A line connecting all of them.
“What is the line for buddy?”
“To connect all of us.”
“But what IS it?”
“It’s our arms all linked together. And I made it longer so more people could join us.”
What a beautiful heart that boy has – joining us together and ready to welcome more.
With open arms.
So blessed.
