Well, this one is pretty simple.
It is NOT me who is just NOW posting pictures from our Fourth of July activities. Nope, not me.
And it is NOT me who is going to post A LOT of pictures. Nope, I’m NOT warning you now.
At the parade…
And at the lake…

And as soon as we got back, the Bible in 90 Days kicked off! And after one week, I am actually still on track!
I love this pacing of reading and, even with this much reading in one day, God is revealing new things every day.
Today, we started Leviticus. I am very thankful we will only be on it for two days. I also noticed how manipulative people were after the fall. Especially the women. Hmmm.
Anyway, some verses that have stuck with me during the first week:
“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” – Genesis 50:20
Moses said to the LORD, “O Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”
The LORD said to him, “Who gave man his mouth? Who makes him deaf or mute? Who gives him sight or makes him blind? Is it not I, the LORD ? Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.” – Exodus 4:10-12
Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” – Exodus 14:13-14
Are you reading along? What stood out to you? What is God revealing?
Erin, even with a busy week, you’re still right on track with your daily reading–that’s wonderful!!! BTW, your comment about being thankful Leviticus was only 2 days worth of reading made me laugh because that’s how I felt when we got to Ezekiel!!! 🙂
Love your 4th of July pix! I’m a sucker for a lake house! (Of course, we live in So Cal, so our days our spent at the beach, but I still dream of living on a lake someday!)
thank you Erin, for pointing out the verses. Be blessed
