Rebecca St. James: “I Will Praise You” {Review and Giveaway}

I don’t often get CDs for ME to review and enjoy – usually lots of fun kids’ stuff – so I was thrilled to get the opportunity to review the brand new worship CD from Rebecca St. James!

And the timing of its arrival was perfect! I had a road trip today to pick up our boys from the grandparents, so I listened to this wonderful CD in the car – more than once!

It’s been quite a while since Rebecca St. James released a new album – we didn’t have any kids when her last CD came out in 2005 – and you can tell she poured her heart into this worship album, I Will Praise You.

The album is a great mix of upbeat and reflective worship music, some new songs and some covers, including “You Hold Me Now” – one of my favorites from Hillsong United. Some of my other favorites on the album include the catchy title track and “Kindness of Our God,” which has a Celtic feel to it.

    Wow… this sounds like an amazing CD! A favorite… I have too many. Seriously. I love ‘You Never Let Go’ on this one! And I love the Celtic feel of ‘Kindness of Our God’. Beautiful!

    Let’s see my favorite worship song right now is probably How He Loves…but the original version by John Mark McMillan. Brings me to tears every single time.

    My favorite worship song is currently… (hard to pick a favorite!)… I do love “Jesus Messiah” though.
