Trying to get my life in order, I have started a new daily routine, beginning at 5:30 a.m. (ish)…
- Roll out of bed and work out on the WiiFit Plus
- Shower
- Get dressed
- Bible time
- Breakfast
- Hair & make-up
And all of this needs to be done by 8 a.m. ( Thank you Get Dressed Challenge!)
I love this new routine…and it is killing me.
Yes, I feel very productive and put together in the morning. But, by the time the evening rolls around, I am exhausted and sore. I need to relax.
And that is when this comes into play…
My lovely Happy Heat Pack from KraftyKash, a fellow Nebraskan!

Keeps you feet warm in bed, warms my Grandfather after dialysis, relieves nasty cramps, relieves tension in neck after dealing with fighting children and much more!
In our unscientific test after heating this for 3 minutes in our SMALL microwave the temp was 160 F, 30 minutes later folded in half it was still 150 F, and 50 minutes after it left the nuker it was still 100 F. ***As a special bonus your house will smell like popcorn after you warm it up*** no lavendar, patchouli, rice,or flax seed – just CORN.
This is a total family project. My Uncle (a farmer) grows the corn in central Nebraska, my husband and son shake the corn removing dust and small debris, and cut fabric, while my daughter helps turn and fill them. I sew and am chief QC officer. Each one handmade, one at a time.
Shipping costs are as low as possible to save money. No fancy packaging, No hidden fees!!
I love the family business and use of local resources! And no cords to plug in 🙂
So, several times a week, before I cuddle up on the couch with the hubby, I stick my adorable Happy Heat Pack in the microwave for 1 1/2 – 2 minutes. My house DOES smell like popcorn (my favorite food!), by the way. Then I put my 9 x 9 square behind my back or on my neck and I am able to relax. It is BLISS!

Oh man, this would be so fantastic here, my son has started having his growing pains in his legs 🙁 I remember nobody ever really GETTING how bad they hurt when I was his age. The “Stripes Are In” fabric is my favorite material, I think. I’m partial to the cupcakes, too 😉
