Sometimes Sally says something in her writing that stands alone. I want to pass it along and just say a hearty AMEN! to it.
I’ve been thinking about comparison and judgement, especially amongst women, a lot lately, so when I read this quote I knew it was the one to share today…
“Homeschooling should be a blessing to us, not an unbearable burden. If it has become such a burden, then perhaps we have required things of ourselves that the Lord never asked us to do. Perhaps the standards we are trying to follow are not God’s standards but man’s. Perhaps we are living by formula rather than by faith.”
Amen.
I think I need to post this in our homeschool room as a reminder to ME.
And I hope you let this truth sink deep into your heart today as well!
