I was slow to jump on the coconut oil bandwagon, but now it is a staple used in our home every day for reason or another!
Most often, our coconut oil is used in the kitchen. Popcorn cooked in a pan on the stove in coconut oil with just a little salt added afterward is divine. The boys ask for coconut oil popcorn all the time! I throw some in when making this fabulous Slow Cooker Chicken Soup. And I’m always finding new places to substitute it into recipes!

I LOVE coconut oil! I use it to condition my hair and as a face and body moisturizer. It’s also great for my thyroid. I don’t always cook with it, but eat a tsp straight from the spoon every night. 🙂

This is timely. I stopped by Costco to pick up some coconut oil yesterday only to find that they are out and that none is ordered at the moment. I’ve never purchased Tropical Traditions before but I’ll give it a look see to see if it will fit my needs. I use it daily too in lots of baking and also in my morning coffee.

I love cooking with coconut oil. Toss cut veggies in coconut oil and salt and roast until golden brown. Brussels sprouts are the best this way. I also use coconut oil in my baked goods and use it for hair and skincare. It’s the best multi-use product!
I like to cook and bake with it. I also feed it to my dogs for their skin.
