The big excitement around our house this fall has to do with the changes made to our backyard!
Here is a before shot for you…
Ok, so the flooded part wasn’t great but we do have a nice big backyard. However, with younger children, we couldn’t let them go out to play by themselves with the big open area and street right behind it.
And boys NEED their outside time.
So we began the process of putting in a fence…
By the way, not actually US putting up the fence – a fence company 🙂
Once the fence was up, the playing commenced…
And there was much rejoicing. By kids and parents alike 🙂
BUT, the yard transformation wasn’t ALL done by the fence company! After the fence was in, the hubby set to work landscaping the front and back!
I think it is gorgeous…
And the front yard got a little lovin’ too…
So proud of the hubby – that was a LOT of digging and hauling rock and more! Thank you so much honey! It makes me smile every time I look in our yard!
And every time I can tell the boys, “Go run off that energy in the backyard!” 🙂

awesome! I can’t wait to have a yard like that. We live at a major intersection with no backyard, only a front yard so my boys have learned to stay on the sidewalk. :S Can be scary at times.
That looks great! What a transformation a fence and a little bit of landscaping makes….I would love a fence in our backyard…our creek scares me a bit…so when you have a giveaway for that…please let me know and make sure I enter:)
