What I Wore: Baby Edition! {Giveaway}

pleated poppyI’ve been a little out of the “What I Wore” loop lately, but I’m jumping back in today with a little different take on the subject that is relevant to life with a new baby…

In my almost six years as a mommy, babywearing has saved my sanity more times than I can count!

This is even more true as our family has grown! I’m pretty sure this little visit to see a friend’s farm when Big J was two and Little J was brand new could not have happened without my trusty front pack…

Both older boys loved being worn, even through vacuuming and dishes and countless other tasks!

When I was offered the chance to try out a baby wrap from Boba, I was thrilled! I had heard wonderful things about wraps and wanted to see for myself with Double J!

Boba offers several different babywearing options! I chose the Boba Baby Wrap in grey {lots of colors to choose from!} and then we just needed Double J to arrive!

And here he is {on our first trip to the zoo yesterday}…


I love the weight of the stretchy fabric, the comfort it provides for myself and the baby, and how easy it is to put on! There are helpful hints on the Boba website – everything from written and picture instructions to how-to videos! Their customer service is amazing as well!

I’m not a pro at the wrap-wearing yet, but I’m getting the hang of it and Double J LOVES it too…


There is not much better than having your baby this close AND having your hands free to get other things done! I’m thankful for the many babywearing options out there and Boba has made me into a wrap lover!

    I am expecting out third in Sept. I loved wearing my baby boys and with this one there is a 6 yr age gap between this one and my youngest. I have 2 very active older boys and so I know it will be important for me to keep baby close to me when I am busy with the other two 🙂

    Babywearing is the only way I get things done around here! We are expecting #5 (boy!) in August. I’m so excited to snuggle with my newest little–all day long!

    I just had our first baby {the sweetest little boy EVER, for the record} in February. A friend lent me a wrap; would love to own one! And as a random sidenote, I grew up in West Africa, where everyone has “worn” their babies {on their backs} forever. It always cracks me up how “babywearing” has become all the rage here in the US in the past decade or so! :o)

    I loved wearing my boys in our Bjorn-type carrier and Squirt in a mai-tai (however you spell it). I don’t personally want to try this wrap. I think we’ll be the S Club 4 for awhile. BUT one of my besties is having a little boy any day now and with her older son being 3 and super active, I think this would be wonderful for her.

    I love babywearing because I get to snuggle my little girls close to my heart! Plus, with three girls aged 6, 2 1/2, and 11 months and a fourth child due in October; I need to have my hands free 🙂

    As an expecting first time mom due in July, I have heard nothing but good things about babywearing! I really want to try babywearing to have my baby girl close to me while allowing my hands to be free to get other things done. I would love to win the Boba Baby wrap!

    I have 2 daughter’s and I am due in July with our first son. I loved wearing both my girls when they were babies. Sometimes it was the only way to do dishes or make dinner. Since my 2 youngest will only be 16 months apart I am thinking baby wearing will become an even bigger part of my everyday life in the months to come!

    Babywearing has kept my 4 boys close at the most important time in our lives! They are more secure and social because of it; not to mention great nursers 🙂

    We still are a baby wearing family at 22 months. Most double strollers dont fit in tight aisles at the store and my twins behave So much better when they are worn!

    I love babywearing! No need to change the family schedule to accommodate naps, hands free with almost no fussing, and my little ones have grown into the best little snugglers. Looking forward to baby wearing again, but with a better carrier. Thanks for the opportunity to win!

    I love baby wearing bc it keeps baby close and allows me to get stuff done. Besides baby wearing at home we baby wear while shopping and hiking. It’s so nice to be able to enjoy doing the things we love with our little ones attached. 🙂
