After a weekend of soul-searching at the Relevant Conference, I prayed about whether or not to keep doing What I Wore Wednesdays. I did not want anyone to think it was done in vain, but only as accountability for looking nice for my husband and children and having a little fun.
And then Lindsey (who hosts the link-up) posted the very same thoughts today. I feel the confirmation.
So onward I go with my Relevant Conference edition of WIWW!
Thursday – Traveling, Day One
(wow, is that a cheesy smile or what?!)
Yellow t-shirt – Seeds Family Worship (sponsored)
Gray cardigan – Kohls
Denim skirt – thrift store
Gray leggings – Target
Black flats – Eddie Bauer
Earrings – Kohls
Necklace – The Rusted Chain (sponsored)
Friday – Conferencing all day!
Brown t-shirt – Seeds Family Worship (sponsored)
Ivory cardigan – Kohls
Jeggings – Target
Suede Boots (oh how I ADORE these boots!) – Lands’ End Canvas (sponsored)

Saturday – last day of the conference
And somehow I managed to NOT get a shot of my whole outfit from that day, which included my SWEET black riding boots from Lands’ End. But I DID capture the gorgeous flowers I was wearing that day!
Yellow flower pin – Our Daily Chooclate
Gray flower pin – Petunia Blooms (sponsored)
Jenny and I had to take our WIWW pic together this day, of course! Hop on over to her site to see exactly what she was wearing, besides that ADORABLE smile! THIS is what I wore Saturday night because my Shabby Apple dress arrived JUST in time to wear for the closing of the conference. Talk about stylish comfort! Really cute details on the top and a roomy but elegant skirt made me feel super girly! Thanks so much Shabby Apple! I’m already trying to find something I can wear it to again – preschool pick-up? Maybe not.
Sunday – Flying home
Black shawl cardigan – Lands’ End (sponsored)
White tee (hidden) – Lands’ End
Jeans – Kohls
White belt – thrift store
Gray vineyard scarf – DownEast Basics
Red flats – Payless
Red and black mercy band – Mercy House Kenya (bought at the conference!)
Tomorrow, my thoughts on so many of the reasons I am thankful for Relevant…
Love, love, LOVE those suede boots, girl! And your Sunday outfit… well, it is just downright adorable! Totally diggin’ the scarf and the shoes!
-Amy
you looked adorable! thanks for linking up!
Love it! And I totally agree that you should continue to do the linkup… in fact, after talking with you and Jenny, I decided to start!
I think that WIWW is a great accountability like you said to get dressed (and be ready) for the day. I think when I don’t get dressed and put some thought into what I’m wearing (whether t-shirt & jeans or this sweater thing I’m wearing today), I am less thoughtful about the rest of my day. It helps me be on top of my game. I also like WIWW so I can get ideas of how to pair outfits and become more stylish. I like to look nice and it doesn’t come naturally for me. 🙂
You look great. I am glad you are still with us.
You look ADORABLE in every picture!!!!!!! I SOOOOO need to come shopping with you and have some of your cuteness rub off on me!!! 🙂 🙂
adorable outfits- i am right there with you on trying to look nice for my husband and kids. the frumpy mom i am today is not the same cute dresser girl he married and i want to be that girl again!
I’m loving your outfits. I never think vain just so cute x
You are so, so super cute! Makes me really think about wanting to dress nicer for my poor husband who sees me in messy paint covered clothes on most days! 🙂
You look fabulous in all of the outfits!
CUTE outfits!! 🙂
After all you tweets about struggling to pack for Relevant I was hoping I’d get a sneak peak into what you wore. Fun!
Oh, I’m so glad you took the photo! You lucky Land’s End girl you! How’d you land that one!!
I’m not sure what I’ll do with WIWW from here on out. If I’m committed to blogging less then some things have to go. I did not take a picture of what I wore today and in a funny way it was freeing!
You keep it up though!! For me!
I’m a dork.
XOXO
Jenny
Such cute outfits! I definitely need to start dressing up more at home!
Cuteness!! I’m was only planning on linking up this week, but we’ll see how it goes. It is a little time consuming to do all the pictures. I still have to edit & post mine! But I do enjoy seeing what Lisa Leonard wears. It’s like having style GPS. I get a feel for where I’d like to head, since my inner compass is broken. 🙂
So glad I got to see almost all those cute outfits IN PERSON!! Miss you, friend!
