The sun did it for me, but how do you get inspired when you’re in a clothing rut?
I like to go to the mall’s facebook page, they always seem to be posting the latest looks that the stores are selling. Then I go to my closet and see if I can create a similar look with the things I have in there already. Many times it is just a new combo of older pieces I have, or wearing something in a new way.
I also thrift shop a lot so knowing what styles are in helps me create that look with used items. This is better for the environment.
I also refashion. If somthing I have is out of style or doesn’t fit right, I can cut a little here and sew a little there and create a new look.
My wardrobe can fill my creative need.
Cute!
