What I Wore time again! I didn’t really post one last week – except for me in a sweet robe – so I have some catching up to do!
Technically spring has arrived, but it sure doesn’t feel like it! I’m ready for more skirts and no coats!
Make sure you hop over to Lindsey’s for ALL of the What I Wore fun and inspiration!
First, a little catching up…
Hmm, can you guess which day this was?
Yep, St. Partick’s Day in my Planet Hollywood tee from Dublin – bought in 2000!
Another random day from last week…
Ivory cardigan – GAP Outlet; Plaid tank – Goodwill (99 cents!); Skinny jeans – Target; Red flats – Payless
Then it got a little warmer for a day…
Old Navy jean jacket – Goodwill ($1); Blue ruffled tee – GAP Outlet; Khaki skirt – Goodwill ($1); Silver flats – Crocs
And now on to this week…
Wednesday (during the day)
Plaid ruffled tunic – Wal-Mart; gray skinny jeans – Target; black riding boots – Lands’ End; blue earrings – Kohl’s
And Wednesday evening (promoting upcoming fashion show at our church!)
Tan sheer cardigan – Target; Unfading Beauty tee; skinny jeans – Target; bronze flats – Wal-Mart
Thursday – started with a FABULOUS birthday present from my FABULOUS friend…
AH! Aren’t they adorable?! So, of course, I wore them several times the rest of the week…
White and gray patterned cardigan – passed on to me from same dear friend; black tee – GAP Outlet; jeans – Kohl’s; silver ruffled flats – birthday present!!!
And then Friday – it was my birthday, and I got a HUGE surprise when I went out on my “date” with my hubby, only to find my mom and sister have driven down for a girls’ night out! I was in shock! And we had SO much fun!
And THIS is the amazing dress I wore that night, thanks to eShakti!
What is eShakti?
eShakti is a unique women’s apparel store online that allows custom changes in the style of the garment – sleeve, neckline, length can all be changed by the customer to her preference.
We also offer the full size selection from size 0 – 26W and custom size too. And recently, we have extended our size set beyond 3X to cover 4X, 5X and 6X as a part of our commitment to serving real women who range from petite to tall to Plus-size.
In short, eShakti is FANTASTIC because they make SURE you feel comfortable and beautiful in any dress you buy! And that’s exactly how I felt in this adorable red number! I can’t wait to try wearing it several different ways – it can totally be dressed up or down!
Just a warning: Be careful when you head over to eShakti – you may spend the rest of your day there!
Saturday – my REAL date night with the hubby
It was a little chilly that night so I had to add the jean jacket. March in Nebraska, seriously?!
Black dress – Kohl’s; skinny jeans – Target; black heeled boots – garage sale; jean jacket – GAP (Goodwill – 99 cents)
Sunday – church
Jean jacket – GAP/Goodwill; pink cotton dress – Lands’ End Canvas; black leggings – Target; gray belt – Charlotte Russe; metallic ruffle flats – birthday present
Tuesday – museum with the fam, lunch with girlfriends
Black drape cardigan – another friend hand-me-down!; yellow ruffle tank – Target; jeggings – Target; black riding boots – Lands’ End
Phew! I think we’re all caught up now!
This week is very exciting because of the fashion show and conference we have this weekend at our church, featuring speaker and author Hayley DiMarco! The goal: showing girls and women that it is TOTALLY possible to look cute AND be modest, and realizing God designed EACH of us with beauty!
I will have LOTS of fashion to share with you next week, including my outfits from Nations Outfitters and DownEast Basics!
Do you have a favorite modest fashion tip? I would love for you to share!
All of your outfits are adorable (and so are you!), but I LOVE your red birthday dress. SO pretty!
you are just precious – I love your style, Erin! Beautiful bday dress!!
Happy Birthday girl! It looks like you had an amazing week, and you looked fabulous!
The red dress is da bomb!
So cute! I love the new shoes and the fun new dress!
If you have the time, I would love for you to stop by and link this up with my “Making Us Cuter” party at makingtheworldcuter.com that I have going on every week, starting on Thursdays.
have a great weekend!
