What I Wore Wednesday {DownEast Basics Fun!}

I’m finishing up this post as I watch “What Not to Wear” about a mommy blogger. Strange…

Sometimes I wish I would end up on that show, but only for the new wardrobe money – definitely not up for the hidden footage.

Anybody else LOVE that show?!

Wednesday – a gorgeous day!

Lilac cardigan – GAP Outlet; Tank dress – Target; Leggings – Target; Ballet flats – Eddie Bauer; Necklace – made by me; Flower – Our Daily Chocolate

Thursday

Gray sweater – GAP Outlet; Green scarf – Lands’ End Canvas; Skinny jeans – Target ($5 this week!!!); Black riding boots – Lands’ End

Friday – MOPS!

Black cardigan – hand-me down; Gray scale ruffled tank – Target (another $5 find this week!); Relevant necklace – The Vintage Pearl; Skinny jeans – Target; Riding boots – Lands’ End

Monday – at home

Red v-neck sweater – GAP Outlet; Jeans – Old Navy; Slippers – Lands’ End; Ivory rosebud earrings – Our Daily Chocolate

And now a little fun…

DownEast Basics is one of my FAVE online stores and the perfect go-to site for modest fashion ideas! They even have a great blog that is always sharing fashion tips and fun combinations!

So I was thrilled to pick an item from their new spring line to review! I picked the Blooming Beads Top in Twilight Mauve because it was unlike anything I had in my closet – and the hubby pointed it out in the catalog!

On Sunday, I wore it to church with a “new” GAP jean jacket I got at Goodwill for 99 CENTS, black pants and black boots.

I love how long the top is and the detail is gorgeous…

For a different look on Tuesday, I paired it with a new tan sheer cardigan from Target ($5 clearance again!) and dark jeans from Kohl’s.

This tee looks dressy and feels expensive but is also very comfortable!

    I loved all of the outfits the Down East “models” wore at Relevant in October! So cute!
