After a day of family fun, Big J got to celebrate with his buddies!
We’ve never done a “friend” birthday party for the kids before, so this was a whole new endeavor for us! There were 23 of us total – including 16 children ages 4 and under! Thank the Lord that the weather cooperated!
Big J wanted a “Toy Story” party, of course, so we started with a mission from Star Command: Complete this obstacle course…
Followed by some sidewalk chalk fun…
Then it was inside for cake and ice cream for our handsome man…
I think he liked the cake!
After opening presents, I think we own everything “Toy Stoy” under the sun. Big J is thrilled with it all!
We turned on “Toy Story 2” to finish out the party, then Big J had fun handing out the party favors as his friends left…
To each friend he said “Thank you for coming to my party! From Buzz Lightyear!” That kid cracks me up!
We survived our first big birthday party and Big J was blessed to be surrounded by all of his wonderful friends on his special day!
But that was just the first party of the week for us…

Looks like Jeremiah had a great birthday! I hope some day Tristan likes Toy Story because I have a birthday banner of Toy Story that says “Happy birthday, Tristan” lol
What did you put in your gift bags for the kids? We’re having a Blue’s Clues themed party for Tristan this year and I know I’m doing Handy Dandy notebooks but beyond that I’m clueless.
