I noticed I have been wearing a lot of black lately. Oh yes, I usually add other colors to accent so it doesn’t look too drab, but still – too much black.

This week, my mission was to focus on COLOR! It was FUN!

Don’t be afraid of color, friends. Black may be slimming, but it can also be draining and aging – did you know that?!

I have been reading Good Girls Don’t Have to Dress Bad by Shari Braendel and I am learning SO much about dressing my body. I’ll be sharing more about her book and online ministry soon, but in the meantime, I took her suggestion for my skin tone, hair color and eye color and wore less black this week.

Then I had the opposite problem: I wore blue or teal FOUR days in a row. What?!

Oh well – at least those were colors Shari said would look good on me! What do YOU think?

What colors do you gravitate toward? Are they the same colors that make you look good? Do you know what colors make you look good?
