I’m needing constant reminders to choose and cling to joy this year. I’ve added the word in various parts of our home decor. I left out a JOY pillow we usually only have out at Christmas time. And my friend Kashoan sent me this beautiful reminder to carry with me everywhere I go…
There really is a difference for me when that word is right there, all the time, reminding what God spoke into my heart when He gave me this word for 2015.
The necklace itself isn’t heavy, but it’s presence is. This necklace has a presence that reminds me of where my joy comes from – my ever-present God who never changes, never leaves me, never stops loving me, and never stops offering His joy for me to choose.
My joy necklace is even more special because I know it was made with love by a friend. Every piece I have ever received from KraftyKash has been perfection. I love this family business and their dedication to making unique pieces to bless people.
Have you picked your “one word” for 2015? Would you love to wear it around your neck? KraftyKash is having a sale on One Word dictionary necklaces through the end of January – they are just $22! And you can add a charm like the heart on mine for just $3!
Just for fun, let’s give away TWO One Word necklaces today! Just tell me in the comments what your word is to be entered! I will choose two random winners Sunday night, January 25th, at 9PM CST and notify them by email!
Thank you to KraftyKash for this wonderful giveaway and my gorgeous necklace! You are a gift!

My word is Faith!
My one word for 2015 and beyond is ENOUGH. I am enough both personally and professionally. A journey I’ve needed to be on for a long long time.
My word is also GRACE!! His is sufficient. In all days. It is sufficient for me, my husband and our boys. It is sufficient to get me through the hard days with our oldest and through the stretches of sickness that never seem to end! Grace. His grace is all I need.
Tenacious
My word is GIVE. Because I’ve been given much, loved much, forgiven much, I want to give more of myself for the blessing & benefit of others. And I’m starting at home- namely more patience, listening, playing with my boys!
My one word for 2015 is “Chosen”..
My one word for this year is AWESOME. and when things are really good, it’s TOTALLY AWESOME!
calm would be my word choice. I think this year is going to be so chaotic, I’ll need to remember to calm myself so I can think straight. 🙂
Tonight I made your chicken stuffing casserole; it was awesome! I didn’t add the corn because we have a corn-averse kid and I didn’t have mushrooms but they would have been awesome in it. 🙂
JOY

Grace is my word. Thanks for the opportunity!
My word is Brave. As a momma to my 7 boys(!!!) I need to learn to be brave 😉
And Thank you for the opportunity!
My word for 2015 is PRAY.
My word this year is Fullness! I am pondering what Jesus means about is having life to the full, and shaking off the dust of emptiness in my own soul from ignoring what He is speaking to me about who I truly am in Christ.
My word is LOVE
Above all else I want to Love my God with all my heart.
I want to Love my husband and my children.
I want to Love others.
My word is “love”.
My word is believe. When all else fails….just believe.
Bold. Because I need to be 🙂
PEACE!!
It’s a beautiful idea. I am memorising Philippians this year and to go with that my word is “Rejoice”…which is pretty close to joy, hey?
I have prayed for you with your big year of changes ahead of you. Keep rejoicing.

My word is children
I’m kinda feeling my word is “one”. Like focusing on my ONE thing I’m called to do.
a
Aware…I want to be aware of what God is doing in my life, in my husbands life and in the lives of my children. I want to be aware of all four of my boys physically, emotionally and spiritually. I want to be aware of opportunities to minister to those God puts in my path. AWARE!
This is a great giveaway! 🙂 I love my necklace from her, I need to get a new chain but I keep forgetting. I miss wearing it though. I always get lots of comments from people because it really is a unique product! 🙂
Ok so my one word is Believe. It sorta became my word during Advent in December and has carried on into the new year!
My word for this year is engage. Last year it was intentional. I am carrying that one over too. 😉
My word is Rejoice. I love these necklaces.
My word – L❤️VE!!! This year I become a mama!!!
My word this year is “near”. I want to draw nearer to God and to my husband, my children, and those God calls me to minister to. When making decisions or during interactions with my husband/children/friends , I am asking myself, “Is what I am saying/doing drawing me closer to them, or driving a wedge?” “Is this drawing me closer to God or creating distance?”
Faith!
Choose
A verb to remind me that I have the ability to determine the next moment by how I choose to live each present moment. It’s a proactive way to choose rightly, not let life “happen”.
I’d choose the word Joy <3
My One Word is THRIVE. To thrive, make steady progress spiritually, physically, emotionally, and financially. To do this, I must deepen my relationship with God. To put Him first. To grow and learn.
Joy

my word for the year would be JOY
My word is “smile”:-)
I try to smile everyday instead of getting overwhelmed by all the tasks that needs doing, worrying what could go wrong, etc. Smile is great and ” contagious”:-) Try it!:-)
My word is Hope
JOY!!!! I had picked this word several days before I saw ur first post about your word for the year. Once I saw your post I realized it was a sign from God that I had picked the right word for my life. I am soooooo excited!! This is my very first time to pick one word for a year.
My Word this year is – Thankful!! Because when you are thankful, it is impossible not to be happy, show love, be joyful…. It all starts with being thankful. I would like to live a THANKFUL life this year. 🙂
