Our first week of school here at Elm Tree Academy is in the books and we all survived!

Actually, we did more than survive – we all really enjoyed it! I’m very happy with the curriculum we chose and I love the time we spend learning together.

Here are the pictures from our first day of school…

Little J is so excited to be doing homeschool! He just wants to keep going in his workbooks all the time!

Big J has grown up so much in the last year. I love his curiosity and creativity! {And he picked out his own shirt for the first day of school to surprise me! Melt my heart!}

I’m still figuring out how to schedule our days and keep both kiddos on track, but I love this time I get to spend teaching and learning with my handsome guys!

    Oh.my.word!! They are so precious and adorable (oops, and handsome–my son always told me, “Mom, boys are HANDSOME, not cute!) Does Big J’s shirt say “My Moms Rocks”? How fun! Thanks for sharing–all of these photos of the children are just making me smile.

    I love reading about your family of BOYS! I have two sons (ages 4 & 2) and it is always a blessing to meet another MOB! By the way, I just subscribed to the MOB blog and I’m following you on Twitter…I love this online community! My boys are both “active” and connecting with you and the MOB Society has been a God send. 🙂

    Your boys are very handsome and look ready for another great year at home with Mom. 🙂
