Welcome to our homeschool room at Elm Tree Academy!
We realized our downstairs living room wasn’t getting a whole lot of use the way it was, so, the day before school started, we did a little rearranging and made a homeschool room! I feel so blessed that the hubby wanted to make this space for us and it is working SO well for our needs!

It has a paper roll for drawing and art projects…
And lots of room to spread out workbooks…
We also have a big window for natural light, a glider, a couch and a piano in our homeschool room! Piano lessons will start in a few weeks for Big J!
We love to read on the couch, do Math-U-See on the floor, make art at the kitchen table and have PE upstairs or outside when the weather permits! Moving around to keep things interesting!

hi! nice space! i found you a few months back (when you were deciding to homeschool or not) and i was going through the same thing! …i saw a post from you again and we both decided to go for it! too funny! i, too, have all boys three littles and one big 30-something boy. 🙂 i’ll post my school room on the hop later this week! looking forward to going through kinder with someone!

I love the pictures of your room! I was wondering if you use your laminating machine a lot? I’ve been debating because you can laminate at Lakeshore for 29 cents per linear foot. But, it’s a 20 minute drive to get there…… decisions, decisions.
