And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.” ~Luke 2:8-14
Happy Birthday Jesus!
And Merry Christmas from Home with the Boys!
{If you have the Power of Encouragement album from Seeds Family Worship, take a moment to listen to the song “Joy!” It is Luke 2:8-14 set to music and has become one of my favorite Christmas songs! You can also buy just that song (last one on the list) for $.99 on iTunes or Amazon! Enjoy!}
Beautiful family! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too!
Merry Christmas to all of you!! 🙂
My husband worked both Christmas Eve and Day as well–so we did things a lot like you! 🙂 Way to keep the great attitude. And then when Residency is over, IF your husband has to work on Holidays you’ll say “IT’s just SO much better than residency!” haha. 🙂 It just gets better and better.
Much aloha and lets actually TALK sometime soon!
absolutely a treat to come home from NY to find this in the mail – love you girl!!!
