Let’s face it – boys are just NOT designed to sit still.
And we’re not going to be able to stop them from wanting to move, so I’m thinking we should celebrate it!
This idea has been on my heart for quite some time and I think it’s time we all just jump in!
So here is YOUR chance to share a favorite shot of your boy (or boys) moving – playing, competing, exploring, creating, whatever!
This is NOT about who has the best camera or takes the best shot. It IS about capturing the very essence of boys and enjoying those captured moments – for ALL boy moms!
So I’ll go first…
Nope. Not the perfect shot in the photography world, but the perfect shot for this mama of a boy who is always on the go. This time it was running through the zoo to catch up with his big brother.
And since it was Game Day (Huskers win!), I may have had visions of this boy running down a football field wearing a REAL Husker jersey someday.
But enough of that. I’ll just enjoy my precious on-the-go two-year-old, thank you very much.

And now it’s YOUR turn!
How to participate: Just write a blog post with a favorite boy action shot (just picture is ok but a description is always fun!), link back to this post and then add your post URL (not home page URL) to the linky below! Then have some fun checking out all of the fabulous pictures!
Let me know in the comments if you would enjoy participating in this link-up once a week (with themes and prizes and fun, oh my!) – would love your feedback!
And I can’t wait to see your pics!

I would definitely link this up every week – my boys are always on the go so it’s fairly easy to catch them in action.
My thoughts exactly Randi! Thanks for joining in!
I would love to join but my BLOG is private :0(
If you don’t have a blog or your blog is private, you can post a pic on our Facebook wall instead if you want! Thanks for coming by and joining in Brooke!
I love this Erin! You’ve hit the nail on the head when it comes to boys. Instead of trying force them into a mold we think is best just run alongside them!
Cute shot! It’s so cute that he was trying to catch up to his brother. 🙂
Wish I could get an action shot of this little boy in my tummy because he is ALWAYS on the move. I can’t believe how wiggly and squirmy he is! I feel like this is a sign of things to come!
I put a picture on facebook link. I need to get or take another so I have one of both my boys. I love having boys and they certainly keep my on my toes!
I love this idea. I am always telling my boy, who is now 14, to be careful and slow down or stop jumping on that while we are at…LOL.. but how true, we need to just enjoy and celebrate it. Love the idea!
I would definitely like to link up every week. I’m at work right now but when I get home tonight I will link up with a pic of my boy.
Love this linky! What a great idea! 🙂 Thanks!
My son and daughter are completely different. I have always been amazed how you can raise children similarly but they are born with such different personalities. Although we say our daughter can’t sit still…..she knows the difference between freezing cold and warm! On the other hand, my son doesn’t. He loves playing any time, any where, and it usually involves some action like sports or being a superhero or having his superhero figures play sports. This is an awesome link up. Love it!
This was a lot of fun – thanks for the great idea and for hosting the link up. 🙂
Boy do I understand BOYS! ha! I have 4 – one is 20, but the other 3 are 3, 7, and 9 and they have more energy in one day than I’ve had my whole life! ha! They are wonderful though aren’t they? 🙂
I came over from the Relevant Attendees page and thought I’d say hello. I’m going to be there too! I’ll look forward to meeting you.
Lynnette
This is a great post idea! I would link up each week! My pictures this time aren’t very action-y (most of the time I delete the blurry action shots off my camera!).
I really appreciate posts dedicated to enjoying boys. People are always saying, “Oh my! You have ALL boys!” but truly boys are such a blessing, not a burden!
How wonderful! We will plan to join in as well! Thanks for coming up with this special place for us to post about our special gifts! I am also now following you…
Love this idea! My boys are always on the move. I’d participate in this link up often. 🙂
Oh my goodness… your little Husker is SO cute! Wonderful captured moment! 🙂
OMGosh I’m soooo new at this, and not very good I might ad. I ended up successfully submitting my shot of the neighbor boy on his trampoline (with permission, of course) and then got all wound into the instructions for Linky and now it looks like I started a contest of my own on my blog post. Well, live and learn, I’m excited to start adding and linking, but, guess we gotta start somewhere! I’ve had a blog for a while but haven’t done a lot with it……….stand by for more! hahahahaha! Thanks!
