I love dresses. All year round.

Spring…

Summer…

Fall…

Winter…

I love dresses because they really can be worn through every season if you accessorize them right! THAT is a huge budget-saver!

Let’s start with a dress I bought from Lands’ End Canvas in the middle of winter. It has lightweight jersey top, gathered waist and cotton skirt and I adore the bright color!

In the winter, this is how I wore it…

Gray boyfriend cardigan, pearls, chunky gray belt, black leggings and black riding boots.

This is comfy and warm enough for Nebraska winters!

Then it started to warm up just a bit…

So I stuck with the same belt and leggings, but added a denim jacket and silver ballet flats.

Springtime arrived…

I lost the jackets and cardigans, went with a brown belt, bronze flats and jeggings this time!

And now that summer is here…

Forget any pants under the dress! Summer is time for gladiator sandals and a fun flower pin!

I love the versatility of this dress – the year-round styling makes it a great investment!

Then there is my basic black tank dress from Target that cost a whopping $15. It recently lost a battle with grease stains {sad, sad day}, but before that, I had lost of fun adding pops of color to brighten it up!

Here it is with lilac and yellow…

And then denim, green and ivory…

Totally different outfits with the same basic foundation!

This spring, I took this dress…

And added skinny jeans and a cream cardigan to dress it down a bit.

This red dress can be a party dress…

or a church outfit…

with different jewelry, shoes and a jacket!

I can’t wait to take my most recent dress purchase {the $8 Target dress}…

And add leggings and a cardigan when the weather cools down!

If that ever happens…

There are lots of great “end-of-summer” sales going on right now – buy a few dresses at low prices and then have fun wearing them different ways as the seasons change!
