My boys are in L.O.V.E. and so am I.

With what?

Learning about the Bible.

No joke.

This is why…

Oh my word, I could watch this DVD all day – it is FUN and we are learning so much!

What exactly is What’s in the Bible?

Whatโ€™s in the Bible? is a new 13 DVD-series from VeggieTales creator Phil Vischer designed to walk kids and families through the entire Bible.

We’ve seen all five volumes that have been released so far, and this DVD, Volume 5: Israel Gets a King, is definitely our favorite! {check out the trailer here}

Volume 5 dives into the kings of Israel – fascinating stuff for all of us – but it also digs a lot deeper.

History, character, the consequences of sin, and even the TRINITY is covered in this volume. That was huge for me – I think every parent would love some help explaining the Trinity to their children!

Big J (5yo) has not stopped singing the song about 2nd Samuel {which I adore as well}, and both boys are walking around saying…

“Ish-Bosheth, Ish-Bosheth, nothing rhymes with Ish-Bosheth!”

I can’t make this stuff up friends.

Because of What’s in the Bible, we are talking, singing and learning about the Bible in so many new ways. I just KNOW your kids would love it as much as we do! We’ll even be using What’s in the Bible as part of our homeschool curriculum next year! {Stay tuned for more on that once we get rolling!}

I am blessed to be part of the What’s in the Bible Street Team, in partnership with Tyndale House, and that means YOU get the chance to win this DVD here today!

Oh, and by the way, this man is a genius.

In 1990, 24-year-old computer-animator Phil Vischer sat down to create a group of characters that could teach Christian values to kids in a delightfully different way. A tomato named Bob and a cucumber named Larry were born. VeggieTales would go on to revolutionize Christian filmmaking, selling more than 50 million videos and placing Philโ€™s faith-filled stories in one in every three American households with young children. Phil continues to pursue innovative new ways to integrate faith and storytelling through his new company, Jellyfish Labs. His projects include Jelly Telly, which provides faith-based daily programming via the internet at JellyTelly.com
