Since my last post was about selling things I love, I thought I would share something else I love!
I’ve told you about my love for Amy Knapp Family Organizers in the past, but now she has something new out and I’m digging it too!
I have tried lots and lots of calendars out there and this one is fitting all of my needs right now!
What’s so great about the Big Grid Family Organizer?
First of all, just like the title says, it is a BIG GRID calendar and I do NOT like squishing things together on my calendar!
Secondly, there are awesome reminders at the top of each month that I would NEVER think of but NEED to! Planning way ahead is not my strong suit, but Amy just did it for me!
Thirdly, there is a spot at the bottom of each day specifically for the dinner menu – I don’t have to put it on a separate calendar or sheet of paper!
And lastly, there are lots of great extras like tear-off menu-planning and grocery lists and cute and colorful stickers to mark important dates.
The ONLY thing I did not LOVE about this calendar is the lack of magnet to put it on my fridge – but with the pre-drilled holes and a couple of heavy duty magnetic hooks, I made it work!
Since this calendar is an August 2010-December 2011 calendar, I thought it only fitting that Amy and I give away a couple of these babies as we move into August!
So here is YOUR chance to win one of two I am giving away!
All you have to do is.
Tell me how you would fill one of the big daily grids on this calendar! School, trips, errands, date night – you name it!
And I’ll give you a few extra entries this time if you.

Thanks so much to Amy for providing the review and giveaway calendars – love your stuff!
Hmmm…you already know how much I LOVE calendars, so I’m thinking…what wouldn’t go on it??? 🙂
Everything would be there – lessons, school events, church events, birthday parties, date nights, sports practices and games, etc, etc…!!
Already ‘like’ you on Facebook!
School events, church events and family events. That seems to be our life these days.
I seem to fill our calendar up fast between playdates, our running schedule, weddings or showers, community events and then the kids’ doctor appointments. For having two little boys, our calendar sure does fill up fast. I can’t imagine what it’s going to be like once they get involved in activities. 🙂
I can’t believe I wasn’t already your fan on FB but I am now!
I do follow you on Twitter too (@sclubmama)
Events, appointments and dinner menu – love it! I liked HWTB on FB!!
I have the smaller planner and have used it for years ~ love it!! I would use the big one on our fridge {those 3M adhesive hooks are wonderful!!} for our day-to-day activities.
p.s. I follow you on Facebook
And of course I follow you on Twitter! Can’t wait to meet you at Relevant!
Well, you know that the stay at home mom doesn’t truly stay at home. Ours would be filled with playdates to the zoo, park, library, puppet shows, playgroup, dance class, Bible Study, volunteer work, date nights with my man, and evening get togethers with friends and their families.
ps- the menu thing is awesome. my hubby saw it was SO EXCITED! 🙂
Already follow you on twitter….as you know!
I already follow Home with the Boys on FB….because I love you! 🙂
love, LOVE, L.O.V.E. Amy Knapp’s organizer! I found it when the boys were little and STILL get one every year. It is one of the few things that still works, this is not something for families with small kids…mine are in MS and HS and I need it more now than EVER!!!
Fill mine withsports practices, games, meetings, dr appt, menu, and the all important DATE NIGHT!
now following on twitter…
and the above post should read, “this is not something for families with JUST small kids…” 🙂
following on FB now also!
I love Amy’s Knapps organizer! I haven’t seen the big grid one arouund at all – I’d love to win it!
I like you on FB!
Erin,
Where can I buy this since I NEVER win anything. I am a busy mom and Day care provider. I manage 8 schedules and meal plan for a lot of meals, so, IF I did win… I would be so excited.
I don’t tweet, but I like you on FB. and love you in real life! <3
We will have 2 kids in Elementary school this year and all the activities that go with that! This calendar would be so helpful!
Tara
Three boys. Two play baseball. Two take swimming lessons. The third will start soon. Hubby has dinner meetings on occasion. I have music practices and concerts. I’ll have NO problem filling up that grid! =)
I would love love love love love to win this. I’ve always wanted one just like this and I’d fill it with homeschool plans, outings, vacation trips, birthdays, and much more!

we have tried so many items to keep our family organized and things work for a while then we get behind and nothing works.
maybe we just are not meant to be organized, but in the past we have filled planners and the like with date night, sports, church and all the other things that we have just had to memorize.
I’d fill it with our homeschooling and church activities.
I’ll be filling in a lot of doctor’s appointments. Once a week until baby comes, and then all the pediatrician and follow-up visits afterward.

I would use the calendar to keep up with our homeschool activities, church activities, my husband’s work schedule, my son’s baseball schedule and my daughters’ ballet schedules.
This calendar would be great for us since we are starting homeschooling!
I’m home with three little guys (2, 4, and 6). We are considering homeschooling this year, so a new calendar/planner would be GREAT! In addition to keeping track of all our lesson plans and activities, I like to use my planner to record funny, cute, and outrageous things my little ones say and do. It’s fun to look back at each month and remember not just a trip to the park, but something funny that one of them did there! Thanks for having this giveaway…I am following you now on FB! God bless 🙂
I would fill it with my kids school schedules. I also run a homeschool co-op so all the activities would go up also. We also handle our youth in our church so their activities would go on it also. We are so busy that a big calendar works best for me. Thank you for the information. God Bless
I would put what I want to teach my kids during the day during school, play dates, activities, and everything else that goes in between…. I am sure it will fill up quickly!! Great giveaway!
Hi! I am just starting home-schooling my first son whom is 5 in Oct. So, I need to start to get organized! I would use the grid for planning trips a lot because I always want to go somewhere, but if I don’t plan it, it doesn’t happen and my kids need to go places! So, I’d look up for things to do and plan them throughout the year for things like beach days (there’s a lot of different beaches out here), museum, family trips, park, pic-nic, vbs, ect.
And, I’d also probably use it for supper dishes, I’m pregnant with my third child and will need to plan my suppers with some easy recipes for my own insanity! lol Starting to home-school this year for the first time, having a 2 year old and my third and last child in January! Gonna be a busy year! Thanks for giving these away! God bless!
We so need a good way to see our schedule at a glance. Between work and school schedules, cub scouts, swim lessons, soccer and the rest it’s like a three ring circus! I need organization in my life! 🙂
Four boys and live on a farm…are you kidding? There are tons of things I have going on to fill this with! I am always looking for big calendars too. I like to jot funny things the boys said or did on the calendar too because I save my calendar every year. With farming, Hubby and I are always fighting for room to write all the stuff we have to plant on dates and so forth. And did I mention four boys? There is ALWAYS something going on.
This is a great giveaway! Have fun with it!
Hi! What a great give away! Yes please, enter me 🙂
I would definitely schedule some date nights on that calendar! It seems like the only way we ever go out by ourselves is when we make a conscious effort to schedule it – this would help!
I’m a fan on facebook (Amanda McFall Ayala)
Goodness with 5 kids and all their activities—I will have no problem filling this grid up!

We are newbie homeschoolers, so this would be great for us to plan our schedule week by week since mommy has to plan school around my work schedule! We would be able to schedule school days, library visits and PE days!

Between keeping up with homeschooling, field trips, doctor appointments, and incidentals for seven children, I bet I could fill this calendar up! And that doesn’t even include my sewing schedule and my husbands pastoral schedule.
Looks awesome Erin. I like the idea of the putting it on the fridge so my girls can see what each week holds for themselves! With school starting soon, we lots to fill one of those big squares with – like dance, Wed. Choir, and breakfast with daddy on Saturdays!
