I’m Erin, the founder here at Home with the Boys AND the co-founder and creator of the MOB Society!
Here at Home with the Boys, I blog about lots of things, but mainly family, faith and even a little fashion! This blog follows our life and we are on a wild, but awesome, ride with the Lord guiding us every step of the way! He is SO good!
In addition to being one of the women behind the MOB with the beautiful and talented Brooke, I also write for The Homeschool Village and as a Tommy Mommy for Tommy Nelson!
Let me tell you just a little bit about the fam!
I have been married to this handsome man for eight years…
And he just started his fourth year of medical school! Just over nine months until that M.D. is added behind his name – so proud of him!
We have two little men, the whole reason behind the MOB Society in the first place…
Little J is three – fearless, funny and full of energy! Some days, this boy scares me to death, but his dimples melt my heart in about two seconds flat!
Big J is five – so caring, creative and crazy! We will be starting homeschool this Monday and he is SO excited! He is an avid reader already, which leads me to the next part of this blog hop…
A few of our favorite books!
We have LOTS of books. LOTS. But there are few the boys always go back to night after night…
The Jesus Storybook Bible {We all fell in love with this leading up to Christmas, and now Big J can read it to US!}
The Gruffalo {both boys LOVE this, especially when read in a British accent!}
Llama Llama Red Pajama {Little J would listen to this every night and the other Llama Llama books as well!}
Snuggle Puppy {I sing this to Little J and he gives hugs and kisses during it. Perfection.}
I’m sure I’ll think of lots more, but I know these are the favorites when they are the first things to pop into my head!

Your little men are adorable! Love the pictures! Your little guys melt my heart and remind me of my little men too.
We love Llama Llama too! Red Pajamas is my “baby’s” favorite! My guys are in a phase of loving for me to just tell them a story. So I’ve been telling them stories of my growing up but using the 3rd person to make it more exciting for them. “Once there was a little girl and her sister…” They LOVE it!
You have a good looking family and precious boys! Glad to meet a fellow mom blogger!
I smiled as I imagined you reading to your boys in a British accent! Love that! My Kiddo is 11, so memories of reading to him every night before bed are precious. One of these days I’m going to pull out “Guess How Much I Love You” and “Love You Forever” and make us both cry. : )

What cute little boys! And I love your blog! I’m married to a Medical guy, too. He’s Coast Guard and getting ready to head to PA School, so I understand the endless nights of studying and countless hours of quizing him on medical terms. 🙂

I put the last 3 books on hold at the library (they didn’t have the first one) and wouldn’t you know that the day we went to pick them up, we went to the toddler story time and they read “Snuggle Puppy?” My daughter now LOVES that book. I’m gonna have to buy it. Thanks for the recommendations!
