Did you know it’s Operation Christmas Child collection week?! And it’s not too late for you to pack and ship a box! In fact, we just had our very own Operation Christmas Child shoebox packing party today and it was a blast!
Each family brought their own boxes, the things they had bought to pack them, and a snack to share. I put on some Christmas music and provided some fun crafts for the kids to do and add to their boxes! The older kids also filled out sheets about themselves to put in the boxes.
When we were done packing, the kids watched the newest Veggie Tales Christmas movie, Merry Larry and the True Light of Christmas. I had my computer on the Operation Christmas Child site so each mom could pay for the shipping for the boxes and sign up to track them! The boys and I will be taking the boxes to a collection site tomorrow!
